Description
Rich purple color and thick savoyed leaves. This beautiful plant does well in the heat when other greens fade. Easier to grow and even more nutritious than spinach, but a bit similar in taste. Eat the tender young leaves raw or lightly cooked.
Orach has been cultivated in the Mediterranean region as a garden vegetable for 4000 years.
