Description
(Centaurea cyanus) These classic annual cornflowers produce an abundance of 1-2″ dark blue blossoms. Not only do they attract bees and other beneficial insects, they make a beautiful addition to a cut flower arrangement and can also be added to a salad, as they are edible. The plants grow to about 3 feet and flower from mid-summer to the first hard freeze.
