Description

An elegant biennial which, if planted early, will bloom it’s first year. Upright growth is from 3 to 5 feet tall with beautiful yellow blossoms. The whole plant is edible from its tap-root to it’s flowers. It has many medicinal uses, and is quite high in GLAs, linoleic acid, and phenylalanine.  Well adapted to our cool climate; it has been grown at Terrapin Farm for many years.
