What a beautiful romaine. This dense romaine is spackled red across its rich green leaves. We enjoy growing this romaine to maturity for head sales at our farm stand as well as growing the heads closer together at 6” spacing and harvesting them earlier for a wonderful loose-leaf romaine salad. Holds up well in the heat, resists bolting and resists bitterness. Original Seed Source: Wild Garden Seeds. Grown by Fresh Roots Farm in Polson, MT. Certified Organic. Lactuca sativa.
