Description
As the name suggests, this kale came from Russia with fur traders in the pre-1880s. A very hardy kale with tender sweet leaves. Stems are purple with blue-green leaves. Wonderful in a baby leaf salad mix or full size. You can plant it in the fall and eat it in the early spring when fresh greens are hard to come by. Hardy to -10 F.
