A hardneck porcelain type boasting 4-5 very large cloves per head.

This particular strain has been grown at Glacier Tilth Farm for many years and has never failed to impress. Extremely reliable and cold-hardy. This year Greenblade Farm maintained this variety.

Hardneck varieties send up a stalk, or scape, in early summer than most growers break off while still succulent to promote bulb growth. The scape itself can be used in cooking.
