By far the earliest Italian type eggplant we’ve found! Mid-sized, (5-8.5″ long by 2.5-4″ diam.)’ produces well both under cover and out. An heirloom variety that we thought had disappeared, Adaptive Seeds had it at an Organic Seed Alliance conference and we are happy to have it back! Sow indoors a week before peppers for transplanting into warm soil. Benefits from dark plastic mulching. Harvest while fruit is still shiny, but calyx has just begun to curl.
