Description
Dark green crinkled leaves on 8-9” stems.
Harvest this easy culinary staple all season and watch it generously regrow, right up through hard frosts. It will also regrow usable leaves in early spring of the second year before it flowers. A biennial, you can enjoy the flowers as pollinator attractants and then save your own seed.
Start indoors in very early spring. Seeds take up to 14 days to germinate. Can take frost, set out in spring.
