Good Egg Farm

Leslie Kline

Moiese, MT

Good Egg Farm is located 10 miles west of Ronan, in the Moiese Valley, on the Flathead Indian Reservation. The farm sits on a windy bluff looking out over the Flathead River to the west, with a view of the Mission Mountains to the east. We are longtime egg producers transitioning to vegetable and seed production. Our produce is sold through the Western Montana Growers Cooperative and to friends of the farm. Now we are happy to offer seed of some beloved, delicious and useful varieties of vegetables through Triple Divide.

For the health of all and of the earth, organic is the way to go. Leslie learned Biodynamic agriculture and was originally certified through Demeter. She then was a founding member of Homegrown–Montana Sustainable Farmers Union, in which farms maintain organic standards through farmer-to-farmer visits and education. In 2014 she re-certified USDA Organic through the State of Montana, to support this important seed work.

Organic Certification: 1996–2006. Homegrown member practicing organic farming 2006-present. USDA certified organic 2014 to present.
