A very well adapted sweet pepper for unpredictable Montana summers. Sets fruit and even reliably turns red. This is a Johnnys Seeds introduction a couple of decades ago, and you will still find it in their catalog, because it is a great variety! Compact plants that get loaded with cone-shaped, thick-walled fruit that go from green to red and from good-tasting to delicious. I like to pull or cut the plants in the fall before they are touched by frost. You can store them in a cold garage, hang the whole plant with peppers on and they will continue to ripen and yield fresh peppers into December.
