A striking breadseed poppy for ornamental and  culinary use. Pale lilac petals with darker veining. The vents in the seedheads stay closed to allow for harvesting the seeds for baking. Particularly sweet flavored. Originally from Russia. Annual. Grown by Terrapin Farm in Whitefish, MT. Certified Organic.  Papaver somniferum.
