Description
Unusual plant native to coastal Mediteranean and Japan, and used in those food cultures. Grass-like leaves and stems are cut at 6-8 inches, slightly salty.
These seeds can be hard to find in part because their viability drops off quickly, so germination can be poor. We are selling this year’s crop (2024) and will pack generously. If you keep the seeds past this year they will most likely no longer be viable.
Grown by Deluge Farm in Camas Prairie, MT. Elan reports that Agretti has been reseeding itself in one of his hoophouses for many years. These seeds come from that established self-selecting population.
